As a project designer at Workshop AD, Aaron brings his passion for residential design to each new project. Calling Seattle home since 2004, he has worked both as a builder and designer throughout the region’s unique environments and landscapes.
Experience as a craftsman and carpenter have informed Aaron’s deeper understanding of the back and forth nature of the design and construction process. Assembling details and thinking through the layering of materials has fostered a firm belief in the value of high performance building systems and energy conservation.
Aaron looks for simple and efficient design solutions which connect people to the project’s location. Growing up in the Yakima Valley, the weathered agricultural buildings and manicured landscapes were an early influence on his sensibilities toward form and function. Along with architecture, he enjoys exploring vehicle design and gaming online with friends. Aaron lives in Seattle’s Squire Park neighborhood with his wife and their pets.
