Alaska Marketplace is a transformative renovation project reimagining a mid-1970s downtown shopping mall and office building as a catalyst for Anchorage’s evolving urban center. The project supports a broader vision of creating an active mixed-use neighborhood where residential, retail, and public life intersect to strengthen the city’s urban fabric.

At the center of the project is the marketplace, envisioned as a dynamic year-round destination that brings together local food and beverage concepts, outdoor and recreation-focused businesses, film culture, and Alaskan makers and craftspeople. Designed to support a growing residential community, the marketplace creates opportunities for gathering, interaction, and a more connected urban experience.
